Across the street from the Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio, site of the 75th General Convention of the Episcopal Church, stands a beautiful Greek Orthodox cathedral, built by the congregation in 1988. The experience of touring the cathedral one afternoon was as far from the experience of attending General Convention 2006 as the East is from the West. Thanks to Jo Ann Patton for arranging the tour for members of the Fort Worth deputation and to Diana Synadanof, our tour guide, whose love of Christ's Church made our visit particularly joyful. |
