Fwepiscopal.org Email Addresses Available Your congregation can now have an email address which looks like yourchurchname@fwepiscopal.org. Why would you even be interested? Something to think about. The standard practice when you sign on with an internet service provider is to assign you an email address ending in their name, for example: StSwithuns@aol.com or saintbotolphs@cowpokesinlove.net. It's advertising, my friend! You are shucking out shekels to them for their service AND giving them free advertising. So why not advertise for your diocesan family through your email address rather than some ol' secular firm? Do the good folk at AOL pray for you? If they do, it is probably that you will buy one of their "premium" support packages. That's but one reason to consider signing up for an fwepiscopal.org address. Another Consideration: As internet technology and services continue to evolve, the likelihood of you changing your service provider increases. When that happens, so does your email address. If you have an fwepiscopal.org address, it doesn't matter who your service provider is this week, your address will remain constant. Change ISPs as often as you like, your friends and parishioners will always be able to find you. Convinced yet? What will it cost us? Ever hear of Grace? That's right, just because we love you, it won't cost you anything. Nada, zip, zilch. It's a freebie. What's the catch? You are responsible for getting internet access - sadly, we are not an ISP. We do love you, but there is a limit to our resources (Now if absolutely everybody tithed...Who knows what we could do?). All you have to do is get online and we'll do the rest. How do I sign on? Email, of course! Just drop an email to me at webmaster@fwepiscopal.org and I will contact you with instructions on how to set up your system. Give it a try! Members of the Clergy, the offer is good for you too! |
