At its regularly scheduled meeting of June 16, 2003, the Standing Committee of the Diocese of Fort Worth unanimously voted to support and endorse Bishop Iker's statement regarding the June 8 election by the Diocese of New Hampshire of the Rev. Canon V. Gene Robinson to the episcopate. The Standing Committee joins Bishop Iker in the conviction that consent to the election should be denied.
