If you have not already done so, please pick up a copy of “Making Your
Lenten Rule” in the Narthex. These will be placed on the Altar throughout Lent
then burned at the New Fire at the Easter Vigil.
The Daughter’s of the King will have their March meeting today in the
Parish Hall following the Solemn Mass.
Today
Bill Warnky will continue the class on the Spiritual Life. The class will deal
with various forms of prayer with a major emphasis on mental prayer or
meditation.
The Fort Worth East
Deanery Convocation will be held on Tuesday, March 9th, at 7:00PM at St. John’s, Fort
Worth.
This Friday, March
12th, will be the fourth of our Friday Night series of meatless meals, guest
preacher, and Stations of the Cross and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.
Our guest preacher this week will be Fr. Chad Nusbaum, Curate, SS. Peter and
Paul, Arlington. Your host will be the Daughter's of the King serving Slow
Cooked Pinto Beans with Sweet Corn Bread served with a fresh Garden Salad and
Ranch Dressing.
