Our Outreach programs are always considered special events. Though some parishes prefer to budget for Outreach programs,
St. Timothy's Outreach programs are funded strictly by donations from parishioners and friends of the parish.

Thanksgiving Baskets   For Thanksgiving 2005, we were able to provide Thanksgiving meals for three families. In cooperation with the Oaklawn Elementary School, our parish family is always willing to help those in need.

Christmas Angel Tree   Our traditional Christmas Angel Tree is alive and well. For Christmas 2005, we provided much needed clothing and toys for 15 children of needy families in our community.

Cocaine Anonomous   Each Friday evening, our Acker Room is opened to the local Cocaine Anonomous organization. For further information, please contact Mr. Abel Flores at 817-265-7918.

Crimewatch   The Oaklawn/Glen Garden Crimewatch is hosted by St. Timothy's Church. This group meets at 7pm on the first Thursday of each month in the Parish Hall.
 

Our second edition cookbook, titled An Epicure's Guide -- To A Bountiful Table and Heart, has always been a popular item. Not only do our parishioners buy them for themselves, many are bought for gifts to friends and family. This edition contains 165 pages of delicious recipes including appetizers, soups, salads, vegetables, main dishes, breads and rolls, and desserts. It also contains a 'food for the soul' section with mealtime graces, short poems and inspirational messages, Episcopal trivia and children's prayers. A categorized index of recipes is included as well as suggestions for lowering fat content in meals, food labeling definitions, food safety guidelines and much more.
